Trust Accounting & Financial Reporting Services
Colliers International offers a unique trust accounting solution within our Property Management service. We utilise our centralised, Colliers Shared Service Centre (SSC) and the trust accounting expertise, experience and qualifications of William Buck to offer our clients responsive service and certainty in the production of timely and accurate information. This service is underpinned by a highly professional and experienced team, who utilise market-leading software, Management Reports International (MRI).
Through the accounting expertise and resourcing of the SSC, Colliers is able to process over 15,000 creditor invoices and 5,000 tenant receipts each month.
MRI is a comprehensive lease and financial management suite and is Colliers’ property management and trust accounting tool of choice. The MRI system is a fully integrated property and financial information management system. It offers a high performance solution built on the expertise of MRI, a leading provider of real estate management software and solutions since 1971.
Today, MRI stands out as the most experienced provider of software and services to the global property management industry.
The MRI application offers a number of integrated modules including:
Accounts payable
Commercial management
General ledger
Financial reporting
Property data and statistics
Lease data and lease administration tools and reporting
Property and tenant level budgeting
Custom report-writing capability
Colliers International Australia implemented MRI in June 2000 and now has over 100 registered users in both Australia and New Zealand. The volume of the data contained in Colliers MRI (over 5,000 active tenants and over 2,000 active suppliers/creditors) is testament to the system’s robustness and depth.
MRI is a flexible tool that allows customisation of reports to suit individual needs. Since its inception in July 2000, Colliers has made over 300 customisations to the base product to suit individual client needs.

Knowledge Systems
Knowledge Systems is a dedicated Colliers International resource charged with obtaining and developing knowledge and skill sets that enable us to create innovative solutions for our clients.
Key areas of focus for Knowledge Systems include:
Environmental sustainability – consultancy services that address the responsibility of building owners to the environment whilst maintaining a focus on creating efficiencies and acceptable financial returns.
Building technology – consultancy services in specifying commercial office space and future proofing commercial property assets.
Workplace practice – understanding how a commercial asset can be positioned to deliver positive outcomes for occupants by supporting their culture, values and objectives.
By applying the insights, best practice and skills of our teams and knowledge partners in these areas, our teams are able to create practical and valuable outcomes for clients.
These outcomes include consultancy services, learning alliances, forums and research projects that deliver a greater understanding of the dynamic marketplace in which commercial property exists and importantly, how to position buildings relative to contemporary issues.
